Q. How do I change my password?

A. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Click on the 'My Account' link displayed above the top menu.
Step 2: Click the 'Change Password' link.
Step 3: Enter your old password in the 'Old Password' text box.
Step 4: Enter your new password in the 'New Password' text box. The password:
• Must be a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 20 characters
o Must contain at least one digit (0-9) and one letter from the 26 character English alphabet
• Must not start or end with a space but may start or end with a number
Please note that the password is case-sensitive, e.g., 'Smith' is not the same as 'smith'
Step 5: Re-enter your new password in the 'Confirm Password' text box.
Step 6: Click on the 'Save' button.

Q. What is the password policy?

A. For user and website passwords:

  • Minimum of 8 characters,
  • Password should include:
1. numbers,
2. special characters,
3. capital letters and
4. a combination of at least 2 of the above.

Q. How often should I change my password?

A. Although Astron Energy Connect will not expire your password; we recommend that you change your password every 45 days.

Q. How long do I have before the system logs me out?

A. After 15 minutes of inactivity, the system will log you out. You will lose any unsaved data and will have to login again to use Astron Energy Connect.

Q. I have a suggestion for the Web site, how do I let you know?

A. If you are unsure about anything you may find on the Web site or discover any bugs or misprints, please let us know. We are always open to suggestions, questions, and comments. Please E-mail Customer Support using 'Contact Us'.

Q. If a product is out of stock can I place it on back-order, or how will I know when it’s available?

A: Upon placement of your order, if the specific product is out of stock the system will automatically place that product on back order for you. Take note that the estimated date of delivery will change and indicate when stock will be available for delivery. The system will update the estimated date accordingly if anything should change.

Q. I would like to order marketing material, POS or training material or how do so?

A. Email: CaltexBrandTeam@astronenergy.co.za with your request, or contact your Business Consultant for assistance.

Q. Can I change or amend my order online ?

A. Unfortunately, you cannot change an order online. You will need to contact the Customer Service Center to cancel or amend an order that has been placed already.
